Ena najstarejših in najenostavnejših predelav s katero spremenimo statično vertikalno postavitev zadnjega brisalca v horizontalno. Ne vzame dosti časa in nič ne stane. Bistvo vsega je, da ročico, ki gre na motorček obrnemo za 180 stopinj. Rabimo le malo dobre volje in 15 minut časa.
This is one of the oldest mods that moves the static position of the rear wiper from a diagonal upright position to a flat position. The mod is completely free and it doesn't take a lot of time. The point of the mod is to turn the arm through 180 degrees. You need to be in the good mood and have 15 minutes of spare time.

Odpremo zadnjo havbo in odstranimo plastičen črn pokrov, ki pokriva (ščiti) mehanizem. Pokrov je pritrjen s petimi plastičnimi zatiči. Pomagamo si s širokim ploščatim izvijačem.
Open the boot lid and remove the black plastic trim which cover the mechanism This is secured with five plastic plugs. Help yourself with using the flat blade screw driver.
Ko odstranimo pokrov, se lepo vidi mehanizem brisalcev.
When the trim is removed we can see the mechanism.
Ročico, ki je s pomočjo gumijastega oringa pritrjena na mehanizem, ločimo s pomočjo sile (izvijač, papagajke, viličasti ključ). Zapomnite si položaj ročice ki jo ločite od osovine.
Remove the mechanism linkage from the motor spindle, with using the force (open-ended spanner, tongs, screw driver). You should remember the orientation of the arm that you remove from the spindle.
Na strani kjer je motorček, z zvezda ključem st.10 odvijemo matico in ločimo vzvod.
On the "motor" side unscrew the nut with open ended 10mm spanner. Separete the linkage.
Sedaj je čas, da preverimo mehanizem, ga razderemo in podmažemo osovino. S spodnje strani odvijemo dva vijaka s kljucem st. 10, z zunanje strani pa uporabimo ključ st. 20-22. POZOR: Pred odvitjem matice je potrebno odstraniti varovalo - seger obroček. Najbrž je razumljivo da smo prej odvijačili brisalec.
Now is the right time to check out the mechanism. Dismantle it and use some grease to lubrificate the spindle. Use the open ended 10mm spanner and unscrew two screws on the innerside of the boot lid and with the 20-22 mm on the outside. ATTENTION: You need to remove the security seger-ring first. I suppose that is understandeable - the whiper was removed first.
Obstajata dva tipa mehanizma z različnim premerom in velikostjo zobcev. Mislim da se je tip mehanizma menjal z letnikom 89.
There exist two types of the mechanisem with the different diameter and different number of the dents i am not shure, but i think that the typ of the mechanism was changed at 1989.
Pazimo na zaporedje sestavljanja vseh razstavljenih delov.
Be carefull of the consequence when you puting together all the parts.
Osovino potegnemo ven, očistimo morebitno rjavino, namažemo z mastjo ali po potrebi celo zamenjamo mehanizem. Zadevo zložimo, privijačimo. Sedaj pa k bistvu. Edini trik je, da na strani motorčka ročico pritrdimo zasukano za 180 stopinj.
Remove the spindle, clean up all the rust, lubrificate with the grease. If is necessary change the mechanism. Put everything together. And now, the point of the trick: turn the arm through 180 degrees. This will move the wiper to an almost flat position.
Privijačimo. Na strani mehanizma ročico enostavno zopet s pomočjo sile pritisnemo v gumijast oring. Najlaže si pomagamo s papagajkami. Zapremo črn pokrov. Damo kontakt in vklopimo stikalo zadnjega brisalca, da ga spravimo v nevtralni polozaj. Pritrdimo ročico brisalca v horizontalno pozicijo, pokrijemo črno kapico in zadeva je koncana.
Re-secure the arm to the motor spindle with the nut and use some force on the other side. Put in place black plastic trim cover and close the boot lid. Be shure the car is in neutral gear. Make the electrical contact and turn on the rear whiper switch. This action will put the mechanism into the neutral position. Put the rear wiper arm to a flat position and re-secure with the nut. Replace the plastic cap that sits over the pivoting end of the wiper.
