1 First of all, you want them sandblasted. Do not remove anything from them, seal every hole well, as the sand must not get inside the brakes! This is critical. Removing of parts starts after they have been blasted and after every grain of sand has been disposed of.



Najprej dejte vse skupaj speskat. "Dratpiršna", krtače ferosani... sej je vse vredu, ampak neboste prišli niti blizu peskanja. Ne odstranjujte ničesar, za peskanje mora ostati vse na čeljustih, ker pesek ne sme nikako priti v notranjost čeljusti in vodil na nosilcih. To je res zelo pomembno. Razstavljanje se prične, ko je vse že speskano in ko je odstranjeno še zadnje zrnce peska.

To sta dva seta za obnovo čeljusti. Mast je za vodila čeljusti, nikakor ne za batke!

V luknje vodil vstavite papir, tako da pesek ne bo prišel noter. Obvezno!
 Now you had them sandblasted, you can begin with removing the pistons. You need and air gun. Put a piece of wood like seen on the pic, because the pistons will be ejected like bullets out of the calipers. You will hear a loud bang when the air will pop out. Apply pressure very VERY slowly. Watch your fingers!



Sedaj ko so speskane, lahko pričnemo z razstavljanjem. Najprej odstranimo batke. Potrebujemo kompresor in zračno pištolo. Kos lesa postavite kot vidite na sliki. Batek dobesedno izstreli iz čeljusti, sliši se zelo glasen pok. Pritisk dodajajte zelo počasi in previdno. Pazite na svoje prste!
 Now you need to push the big (45mm) piston back in a little, so it seals the cylinder. Now the air will push he smaller (40mm) piston out. Take a look at the pic.



Večji batek (45mm) potisnite nazaj v čeljust, tako da bo "zadihtal" cilinder v ?eljusti, zakajlajte ga kot vidite na sliki, in ponovno spustite zrak v čeljust. Tokrat boste dobili ven manjši bate k (40mm).
 Now that both pistons are out, remove everything that is removable.



Sedaj sta oba batka zunaj in lahko odstranite vse kar se odstraniti da.
 Clean what remains of the brake fluid. The fluid is corrosive. It will not hurt your skin in a sec, but wash your hands in a minute. Do not forget to remove the seals inside the calipers, and pay attention not to scratch the cylinders and pistons surface. Leaks may occur!



Očistite ostanke zavornega olja. Olje razžira, tudi vašo kožo, toda ne v momentu, ampak si sperite roke v isti minuti. Odstranite tudi tesnila v cilidrih. Pazite da ne poškodujete notranjost cilindrov in površine batkov, da nebi prihajalo do puščanja olja.
 Now the other caliper. This one will be easy, as you now know what thickness of wood you need. They both pop out in no time.



Sedaj pa druga čeljust. Tokrat bo precej lažje, saj točno veste koliko dobelo podlago potrebujete. Oba bosta zunaj v momentu.
 You can paint the calipers and brackets now, or paint them after reassembling. It is your decision. If you paint them now, you will damage some paint in the process of reassembling, but you can paint every bit. If you reassemble first, you will paint some rubber in the process of painting, sand some parts will not be painted (between the pistons, under the gaiters).



Lahko se lotite barvanja sedaj, ali pa po koncu sestavljanja. Če se lotite sedaj, boste vse dosti bolj natančno pobarvali, boste pa sigurno kaj barve poškodovali pri sestavljanju. Če pa boste barvali po koncu sestavljanja, neboste mogli vse tako lepo pobarvati, morda boste tudi pobarvali kar nebi želeli (gumice), in kakšne vogalčke izpustili.

Zelo praktično je, če čeljusti za proces sestavljanja obesite tako kot vidite na sliki.
 First thing is to fit the new piston seals in the caliper. Spill some (brand new) brake fluid in a tap, and with your finger, grease the seals with ti (use plenty of brake fluid).



Najprej vstavite nova tesnila. Natočite nekaj novega zavornega olja v zamašek od posodice, in s prsti lepo namažite tesnila. Ne varčujte z oljem.
 Clean the pistons, with a soft towel, and get them ready for the install. Just pull the gaiters on.



Batke očistite z mehko krpo, in jih pripravite za vgradnjo. Manšete kar povlecite gor.
 Pull the gaiter up like in the pic.



Manšeto postavite kot vidite na sliki.
 Now spill some brake fluid on the pistons (with the tap, on the background).



Iz zamaška polijte na batek nekaj zavornega olja.
 And now the most crucial task of all. You have to put the gaiter in its place in the caliper before the piston enters in the cylinder. Start from bottom up, and then press the piston in the caliper.



Sedaj pa najbolj kritična faza. Postaviti morate manšeto na svoje mesto v čeljust. Začnite na spodnji strani. Ko ste rob lepo postavili na svoje mesto, pritisnite bat v cilinder.
 With one hand, hold the piston in, and with the other, slide the gaiter up as seen in the pic, but not too much(!) or you will pull the gaiter out. If you placed the gaiter as it should be, some vacuum will happen, and the gaiter will get wrinkles. (as in the pic). Take a closer look to the gaiter around the piston to make sure it is in as it should be. If you missed somewhere, pull everything out and start allover again. It gets easy with some practice.



Z eno roko držite bat na mestu v čeljusti, z drugo pa povlecite manšeto naprej, kakor vidite na sliki. Če ste manšeto pravilno namestili, se bo pod manšeto ustvaril vacuum, in manšeta se bo nagubala. (glej sliko). Pazljivo poglejte okoli manšete, če je pravilno ustavljena. Če je kje še zunaj, povlecite vse ven in začnite znova. Z nekaj prakse postane to precej enostavno.
 Now with the tool in the pic, press the piston in. It needs brutal force, but the most important thing is to apply even force on the piston. You can use a brake pad or a piece of wood, but the pressure must be at the center of the piston so it gets in the cylinder straight. When the piston passes the rubber seal, it gets easier to push it in.



S "cvingo" boste sedaj potisnili bat v cilinder. Za to je potrebna kar velika sila, dokler batek ne zdrsne mimo tesnila. Za podložitev lahko uporabite zavorno ploščico ali kos lesa. Zelo pomembno pa je, da na batek pritiskate na sredini, tako da gre v cilinder lepo ravno. Ko gre batek mimo tesnila, gre od tod naprej precej lažje.

 Now test your work. Do it like you did for ejecting the
pistons, just use slightly thicker wood, so they will not be fully ejected. This time you should be able to press them back in with your bare hands.



Sedaj testirajte kar ste naredili. Tako kot ste naredili za odstranitev batkov, naredite tudi sedaj, toda podložite malo debelejši kos lesa, tako da batki ne bojo izstopili iz cilindrov. Nazaj noter jih lahko potisnete kar z rokami.
